This Privacy Policy describes how JoltReel ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. You may contact us regarding any privacy matters at support@joltreel.com.
We believe in collecting only what is necessary to provide our Service. When you sign up for JoltReel, we collect and store your email address for account authentication and communication. Additionally, as part of providing the core functionality of the Service, we process and store the media you upload (such as static images) and the videos you generate. We use third-party analytics tools that collect anonymous usage data. We do not ask for or collect other unnecessary personal details, such as your name.
You have full control over your data. You can manage your uploaded images and generated videos through the application, or request complete account and data deletion by contacting us via our Support page. Once a deletion request is processed, this data is permanently removed from our active systems.
Data Retention: Currently, we retain your generated content and uploaded images indefinitely so you can continually access your past projects. In the future, as our platform grows, we may introduce automated data retention limits (for example, periodically clearing older or inactive files) to manage storage capacity. If and when such a system is implemented, we will update this policy and notify active users accordingly.
We use third-party analytics tools, specifically Microsoft Clarity, to help us understand how users interact with our website and improve the user experience. Microsoft Clarity may use cookies and collect anonymous usage telemetry (such as page views, clicks, and session recordings/replays of your interactions on our site). They do not collect personally identifiable information beyond what is strictly necessary for their analytics purposes.
Your email address is used solely to authenticate your access to the Service, send important account or billing notifications, and provide customer support. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third-party marketers.
To provide our AI video generation and payment services, we share strictly necessary data with trusted third-party providers. For example, your payments are processed securely by our payment providers, such as Lemon Squeezy or PayPal, and we do not see or store your full credit card details. Additionally, the images and scripts you upload are processed securely via our trusted third-party AI API providers solely for the purpose of generating your videos.
We use PayPal for payments and other services. If you wish to use one of these services and pay on our website, PayPal may collect the personal data you provide, such as payment and other identifying information. PayPal uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us and others, including for fraud detection, harm and loss prevention, authentication, analytics related to the performance of its services, and to comply with applicable legal requirements. The processing of this information will be subject to the PayPal Privacy Statement available at PayPal.com.
AI Training: We do not use your uploaded images and generated videos to train our own AI models. Furthermore, we utilize API tiers from our third-party AI providers that, according to their standard terms, restrict or opt-out of using customer data to train their foundational models.
In accordance with the terms of our AI providers, including Google (Veo), our Service is restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete that information immediately.
JoltReel operates on a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding geographic access. Our Service is strictly and permanently unavailable to any individual residing in or accessing the internet from the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or any other jurisdiction governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We actively employ network-level technical measures, including aggressive IP-based geo-blocking, to prevent access to our website, applications, and APIs from these regions. Because access is blocked at the network level, no website analytics, tracking scripts, or data collection mechanisms are loaded for users in these restricted areas.
Let us be absolutely clear: any attempt to bypass, circumvent, or manipulate these technical restrictions—whether by using a Virtual Private Network (VPN), proxy server, Tor node, location spoofing, or any other obfuscation method—will be treated as a severe and material breach of our Terms of Service. Do not attempt to mask your location to use this platform. If our automated security systems or manual reviews detect that an account is being operated from a restricted jurisdiction, or was created by someone residing in a restricted jurisdiction, that account will be immediately and permanently terminated without prior notice.
Upon termination for violating these geographic restrictions, any and all unspent generation credits, asset credits, and lifetime memberships associated with the offending account will be immediately confiscated and forfeited. We will not issue refunds, prorated or otherwise, for any purchases made by users who fraudulently accessed the Service from a banned region. Furthermore, all generated media, uploaded assets, and project data tied to the terminated account will be permanently deleted from our servers without the possibility of recovery. We aggressively monitor for compliance and will enforce this policy to the absolute fullest extent to protect our platform. By attempting to bypass our security, you expressly waive any right to refunds, dispute resolutions, or data retrieval.
Furthermore, because we actively log payment origins, device footprints, and network telemetry, we have the technical means to identify your actual physical jurisdiction of residence even if obfuscation methods are used. We reserve the right to, and will not hesitate to, use this information to pursue civil or criminal legal action against you for fraudulent access, breach of contract, and the circumvention of our technical safeguards.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, please contact us via our Support page.
