We believe in collecting only what is necessary to provide our Service. When you sign up for JoltReel, we collect and store your email address for account authentication and communication. You have full control over your data. You can manage your uploaded images and generated videos through the application, or request complete account and data deletion by contacting us via our Support page. Once a deletion request is processed, this data is permanently removed from our active systems.
Data Retention: Currently, we retain your generated content and uploaded images indefinitely so you can continually access your past projects. In the future, as our platform grows, we may introduce automated data retention limits (for example, periodically clearing older or inactive files) to manage storage capacity. We use third-party analytics tools, specifically Microsoft Clarity, to help us understand how users interact with our website and improve the user experience. To provide our AI video generation and payment services, we share strictly necessary data with trusted third-party providers. For example, your payments are processed securely by our payment providers, such as Lemon Squeezy or PayPal, and we do not see or store your full credit card details. Additionally, the images and scripts you upload are processed securely via our trusted third-party AI API providers solely for the purpose of generating your videos.
We use PayPal for payments and other services. If you wish to use one of these services and pay on our website, PayPal may collect the personal data you provide, such as payment and other identifying information. PayPal uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us and others, including for fraud detection, harm and loss prevention, authentication, analytics related to the performance of its services, and to comply with applicable legal requirements. AI Training: We do not use your uploaded images and generated videos to train our own AI models. Furthermore, we utilize API tiers from our third-party AI providers that, according to their standard terms, restrict or opt-out of using customer data to train their foundational models.
In accordance with the terms of our AI providers, including Google (Veo), our Service is restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete that information immediately.
JoltReel applies geo-based filtering to certain website tracking and analytics payloads.
